I’m Chelsey! My goal is to create a fun atmosphere where you feel prioritized and comfortable, all while giving you compelling, heartfelt images you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
I’m the creative behind Rise Images. I was born and raised in North Dakota, and moved to Colorado in 2018. My little family lives in Littleton, and I am so in LOVE with Colorado! I serve the Littleton and Denver area, but when properly caffeinated, I will travel to the ends of the earth to document a love story. My main areas of focus are intimate weddings/elopements and family sessions.
I’ve been toting around a camera since I was in the 5th grade! (Disposable cameras, anyone?!) I was captivated by old family photos and how they froze time. In May 2014 I achieved my Bachelor of Fine Art with an emphasis in Photography and established my business. I’ve been shooting weddings since 2014, which is crazy to me!
When I’m not out photographing an adventurous, head-over-heels in love couple or a rad family, I’m working out, spending time with my son and husband (maybe watching murder-mysteries or Schitt’s Creek), and seeking out education to help me provide the best experience for my clients. It’s always a privilege to be welcomed into someone's home to photograph their family, or to be invited to capture a love story unfolding, leading up to a wedding day!
